Expedition Overview

Coracle boating is a traditional and thrilling water activity where you ride in a small, round-shaped boat made of bamboo, wood, and waterproof materials. These boats have been used for centuries across rivers in South India, especially on the beautiful Tungabhadra River near Hampi.

Full Safety Protocol

Life Jackets Required: Every passenger must wear a properly fitted life jacket at all times.
Trained Boatmen Only: Rides should be conducted by experienced and licensed local operators.
Weight Limit Compliance: Do not exceed the coracle’s capacity (usually 4–6 people).
Pre-Ride Safety Briefing: Listen carefully to instructions before boarding.
Weather Check: Avoid boating during heavy rain, strong currents, or high water levels.
